About Mohammed Shakirin
Mohammed Shakirin is the Managing Director of Adel Law LLC and has practised law in Singapore since 2016. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore on 27 August 2016. His practice covers commercial and civil disputes, family law, criminal matters, conveyancing, property law and corporate advisory work. He has represented clients in the High Court of Singapore and has also provided legal support to the Egyptian Embassy. Rather than concentrating on one narrow specialisation, he handles a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters for individuals and businesses.
Before entering legal practice, Shakirin studied economics and economic history. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics with First Class Honours from the University of London and a Master of Science in Economic History with Merit from the London School of Economics. He later completed the Graduate LLB programme at the National University of Singapore, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Shakirin also taught undergraduates at private educational institutions before becoming a lawyer. His teaching experience influenced his approach to explaining complicated legal issues to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
